CONFLICT MINERALS SOURCING POLICY

The SEC as columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, gold, wolframite, or their byproducts, which are limited to tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold 3TG, defines conflict minerals originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) or an adjoining country, collectively defined as the “Covered Countries” may sometimes be mined and sold, “under the control of aGMed groups”, to “finance conflict characterized by extreme levels of violence”. Some of these minerals can make their way into the supply chains of the products used around the world, including those in the salt processing industry.

Because of the complexity of many supply chains the lack of an established system for product manufacturers to track Conflict Minerals back to their source, the joint efforts over an extended period by many governments, industry groups, and companies should be required to make it possible to effectively trace Conflict Minerals back to their source.

Being the world class exporter of Himalaya Crystalline Rock Salt Products we expects our suppliers to have in place policies and due diligence measures that will enable us to reasonably assure that raw material supplied to us if containing conflict minerals should be DRC conflict free.

GM is committed to acting in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, to complying with the law, to meeting its customer commitments, and to supporting its customers’ businesses.

This Policy shows GM’s commitment and its expectations for its raw material suppliers regarding actions to address Conflict Minerals.

Commit to transparency in the implementation of this policy by making available reports on our progress to relevant stakeholders and the public.

This document sets forth the policy of GMS regarding Conflict Minerals.
